ONION CREEK BLOOMSDAY
Onion Creek Bloomsday was held on SUNDAY MAY 6th, the same day as the Bloomsday race in Spokane. Spokane's famous race is 12k, about 7 1/2 miles. Onion Creek Bloomsday is 4.20 miles. In Spokane they start at 9:00AM, you pay a fee to race and earn a tee shirt . In Onion Creek, we start at 4:20 PM, its free and you earn a button. Like Bloomsday in the Lilac city, you can run or walk. Most of us stroll. Friendly neighbors at rest stops fed us and gave us bubbles, flowers, and wrist bands, too!
The ONION CREEK BARGAIN FAIR is held twice a year, on the first Sunday of June, and the first Sunday of October. This is your chance to find a treasure or sell some of your own bargain items.
