The Library at Onion Creek

Located within the walls of Onion Creek General Store is one of the smallest libraries in the nation, part of the Libraries of Steven County.  The library has generously supplied two laptops and WI FI service for the patrons of the Onion Creek library station. The computers and WIFI are available whenever the store is open, free of charge. In addition, there is a rack of paperback books that can be borrowed on the honor system. On Wednesdays, from 1:00 until 5:00, the librarian visits. He brings books that people have ordered, as well as a selection of books and movies that can be checked out at that time.  Stop in when the librarian is here to get your library card.
The Onion Creek library station was one of the first of nine library stations in the Stevens County Rural Library District. Their mission  statement  is to:
" enrich the quality of life for all Stevens County residents providing library resources for information, learning, and recreation."
