The Library at Onion Creek
Located within the walls of Onion Creek General Store is one of the smallest libraries in the nation, part of the Libraries of Steven County. The Onion Creek library station was one of the first of nine library stations in the county. Their mission statement is to:
" enrich the quality of life for all Stevens County residents providing library resources for information, learning, and recreation."
The Libraries of Steven County provide FREE WIFI from 8am until 6 pm daily. You can also order books or movies through their website, or by phone, and they will drop them off here at the store for you to pick up.
Up until the last few months, the library generously supplied two laptops for the patrons of the Onion Creek library station. Unfortunately, the computers are not available at this time.
We are also missing the weekly visit from our librarian. He does stop in with the pre-ordered book deliveries, and empties the drop box.
